 Tecno  android  is  a  Chinese  brand of phones made in china and distributed  mainly in  Africa and widely used   in  Nigeria .They started  their  phone  brand  from  the  popular  java operating system to  the now  Android Os.The  produce Low ended  and  less cost effective  phones. Their main purpose is to manufacture phones which is affordable  for non- developed  and  developing  countries in  Africa  .Its  widely used in Nigeria  though many still criticize  it  for not  meeting  with the  specification of other brands without the knowledge  of the more  the  hardware  requirement  the  more  the  cost  of  the  phone price .

Their first release was N3,N3 was also rumored  as the  first rugged Tecno  brand  of android  phone  and it sold  well  in  It  time .After  that  the  likes  of p3,D5,M3,L3,P5 followed .Their  flagship  phone was the   A version  which were  in  line  of  A ,A+,A1,A11,A111.Tecno  A+  sold well  than other Tecno  brands because  its  hardware  meet  the  hardware  specification  of other  high  ended  android  phone  and the price was $200 maximum.

Tecno   also  delivered  other phones  top brand  like D7,M7,D7 ,R7 and H7 which  sold  at  their   top coupled  with  Pads  like  phantom pad  and  phantom mini p9.They  keep  releasing  new phones from months to month  and the African market have accepted the brand  as available and affordable  .

Tecno  also  added  to the pack their customer  service  care  center  widely  known  as  calcare  and has it branches  in  cities  across  the  nation  Nigeria  and  their headquarter  is  in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos state .   Tecno may not beat the likes of  Htc, Samsung, sony, Lg but due  to  its  customer  care center available many  found  good reason to buy their product and find it easy to get help from their center whenever they want .

Their phones are always packed with a pouch ,mostly the  A+  version came with a power bank  and Extra  batteries  .Its  flagships  comes  with  new  designs  and  ultra size  that  makes  it more  luxurious and  functional   .

DOWNSIDE

Its  speculated  their  brand  is  the more  the  size  the  more  the  cost  which  can  be  vividly  seen   in the A  version  and  in   D version  and other versions . Their  phones  came with  cheap  plastic  that  easily worn  off  when  handled  in  a  short period .  Their  non flagship   phones  also contain outdated  hardware processors and  memory  size  which  is  mean t to have  been  dropped  by other  phone brand  in past years .Their  phone  also  lack an online  rom  update utility (ota) which enables customers  to  update  their stock operating system  to  a  current Operating system or  error  fix . Their phone  system processor  base only  on  mediatek   processor ,not giving  their customer  the chance to choose .It is also known that their phone are made under  unknown  Chinese  phone  manufacturers ,MICROMAX  AND  DORADO .Their prices are not so cheap compare to other Chinese phones  that offers  cheaper phone price with same specifications .

CONCLUSION

They  may  not  rival  with  top  notch  phone  brand  like  Samsung, htc , sony ,lg ,etc but in Africa especially  in  Nigeria  they  are widely accepted  and used  because  of  its affordability and functionality .It  made  all  man  both  high  class  and  low  class  have  a hope  of  owing a BRAND NEW ANDROID PHONE.
